C. Geneva Billingsley Adams, 95 of Prairie Grove, formerly of Star City, died Tuesday at Medi Home-Prairie Grove.

She was born August 8, 1918 in Yell County to the late Joseph A. and Mamie E. Smallwood Billingsley.

She will be remembered for her extraordinary sewing, needlework, quilting and crafting for which she won several Lincoln County Fair awards.

She also loved sharing her family history with her children and many others. She was happiest with a cat in her lap and a cup of hot coffee. She finished her working career after ten years at Levi Strauss.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Cecil Henry Adams; 2 sons, Lonnie Ray and Calvin Cecil; grandson, Allen Ray Adams, daughter-in-law, Nancy Adams and sister, Anna Bell Bratten.

Survivors include 1 son, James Henry (Gladys) Adams of Star City; 2 daughters, Carolyn (Jack) Cox of Everton and Ruby Jo (Donald) Epps of Prairie Grove; 5 sisters, Mary Billingsley, Betty Boomer, Peggy Royale, Dorothy Heckenbach and Patricia Ireland; 10 grandchildren, Sam (Kelly) Cox of Belgrade, MT, Richard (Kathy) Cox of Batavia, IL, Ronnie (Christie) Adams of Hot Springs, Kathleen Adams, Sandy (Randy) Ashmore, Billy (Teresa) Adams, all of Star City, Casey Day of West Virginia, Sarah (Scott) Standbridge of Little Rock, Suzanne (Shaan) Glenn of Evansville, Jennifer (L.D.) Wilson of Lincoln; 14 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; uncle, Otis Smallwood and aunt, Eunice Stutsman of Kountz, TX.

Graveside services are 3:00PM Friday at Holly Springs Cemetery with Bro. Bryan Patterson officiating.

Visitation is 1:00-2:30PM Friday at the funeral home.

She is survived by her son James Henry Adams and wife Gladys of Stat City; daughter Carolyn Cox and husband Jack of Everton; daughter Ruby Jo Epps and husband Donald of Prairie Grove; five sisters Mary Billingsley, Betty Boomer, Peggy Royale, Dorothy Heckenbach, and Patricia Ireland; uncle Otis Smallwood and aunt Eunice Stutsman of Kountze, Texas, Grandchildren Sam Cox and Kelly of Belgrade, Montana; Richard Cox and wife Kathy of Batavia, Illinois, Ronnie Adams and wife Christie of Hot Springs, Kathleen Adams of Star City, Sandy Ashmore and husband Randy of Star City, Billy Adams and wife Teresa of Star City, Casey Day of West Virginia, Sarah Standbridge and husband Scott of Little Rock, Suzanne Glenn and husband Shaan of Evansville, Jennifer Wilson and husband L.D. of Lincoln, also fourteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
