Kathleen Billingsley Arnold, 93, passed away at Sardis Community Nursing Home and went to be with the Lord on October 17, 2012.
Kathleen was born in Senatobia, MS on July 2, 1919, to Alfred Claude and Rosa Lee Wynn Billingsley. On November 11, 1941, Kathleen married James Goar Arnold and they made their home in Sardis, where she was a member of Sardis First Baptist Church.
She leaves a son, James A. "Jimmy" Arnold (Lyn) of Tunica, MS; two grandsons, Jim Arnold (Kathy) of Olive Branch, MS and Greg Arnold (Meg) of Tunica, MS; and five great-grandchildren, Meredith Arnold, Preston Arnold, Rob Arnold, Ashley Arnold, and Sam Arnold. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband "Pop", her parents, and siblings, six brothers: Jessie Hamilton Billingsley, Verman "Mack" Billingsley, Earl Billingsley, Alfred Claude "AC" Billingsley, Jr., James David Billingsley, and Hay Billingsley; two sisters, Aslee Billingsley Wallen and Hazel Billingsley Kroon; and one grandchild, Amanda Lyn Arnold.
