TROY - Richard Francis Billingsley, “Mr. B”, 80, of Troy, beloved husband of Wendy W. Groome Billingsley of Troy, died Monday, May 25, 2015 at Samaritan Hospital in Troy.

Born in Eddystone (Leeperville), PA, he was the son of the late Earl and Mary Welsh Billingsley.

He was a graduate of St. Rose of Lima School in Eddystone, PA, St. James High School and Pennsylvania Military College, both in Chester, PA.

He served honorably in the U.S. Army including two tours in Vietnam.

Richard retired in 2004 from the United States Postal Service where he had been employed for 20 years as a Letter Carrier in Philadelphia, PA.

The youngest of 10 children, he was predeceased by his 9 siblings.

Interment with military honors will be held in Oakwood Cemetery, Troy.
