FRANCENIA BISHOP BENNETT, 75, of NEPTUNE, died Friday, Dec. 14, at River View Medical Center, Red Bank. She was a licensed practical nurse for 20 years. Born in Columbia, S.C., she lived in the shore area for 30 years. She was a member of Christadelphian Ecclesia Church, Westfield.
She was predeceased by her son, Ollen W. Bennett Jr. in 1987. Surviving are her husband, Ollen W. Bennett Sr. of Neptune; her son, Shawn D. Bennett of Wall; three daughters, Theresa M. Bennett of Virginia, Patricia B. and husband, Willie Crawford of Florida and Dana L. and husband, Craig Wilson of Virginia; one brother, George and wife, Benita Bediako of Virginia; nine grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Francioni, Taylor and Lopez Funeral Home, 1200 10th and Atkins Avenues, Neptune. A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Interment will be at Monmouth Memorial Park, Tinton Falls.
