She was born May 10, 1920, in Springfield, the daughter of Harley M. and Cora Mae Holmes Bissell Sr.
She married Wayne F. Williams in 1937 in Springfield; he preceded her in death in 1986. Also preceding her in death was a son, Wayne.
Mrs. Williams was a member of the First Christian Church and Ansar Ansarettes. She was a former member of the Business and Professional Women's Club and Toastmistress of America. She served with the Civil Air Defense Filter Center during the 1950s.
Survivors: two sons; a daughter; a brother, Stanley M. Bissell of Melbourne, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews.
Services: 11 a.m. Saturday, Bisch and Son Funeral Home, the Rev. Rick Irwin officiating.
Burial: Roselawn Memorial Park.
