Born in Pekin, the daughter of Edward and Lottie Fischer Bissell, she married William Ray Shelton. He died in 1949.
She was a member of Third Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Kenneth (Shirley) Kuhn of Mechanicsburg; three grandsons, Thomas, Gene and David Kuhn, all of Mechanicsburg; one granddaughter, Mrs. John (Sharon) Johnson of Springfield; and one great-grandson.
Services were at the Staab Funeral Home.
Burial was in Roselawn Cemetery.
