Mr. Bissell, 69, died Friday at Veterans Hospital, Danville.
Survivors: two daughters, Paula Sue Arnold of Pensacola, Fla., and Shirley Jean Bohnhoff of Dietrich; two sons, Todd Hayden Bissell of Pensacola, Fla., and Gail Lee Bissell of Mason; 11 grandchildren; a brother, Stanley Bissell of Melbourne, Fla.; and a sister, Eleanor Williams of Springfield.
Vancil Memorial Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Paul H. Bissell, 69, of Springfield died Friday at the Veterans Hospital in Danville.
He was born Dec. 21, 1924, in Springfield, the son of Harley Milton and Cora Mae Holmes Bissell. He married Lorine Black in Springfield in 1971; she died in 1993. Mr. Bissell was a resident of Springfield all of his life and was self-employed as a contractor.
Survivors: a brother, Stanley Bissell of Melbourne, Fla.; and a sister, Eleanor Williams of Springfield.
Remains to be cremated. Vancil Memorial Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
