Volga City, Ia. -- The marriage of Miss Nadine Bissell, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Bissell of Colesburg, and Randall Belden, son of N.A. Belden of Volga City, took Place June 30 at Manchester, it was announced here Wednesday.
The attendants were Mr. and Mrs. Carmi Belden, brother and sister-in-law of the bridegroom.
The new home will be made on a farm just north of here.

BELDEN RITES AT ELKADER
Funeral services were held on January 27 at Peace Evangelical and Reformed church in Elkader for Mrs. Randall Belden who died at her home near Mederville on January 23. The services were conducted by Rev. Paul Kitterer.

Burial was in the East Side Cemetery at Elkader with the following as pallbearers: John Robbins, Vern Smith, Frank Peake, Milton Kramer, Gene Stence and Martin Hubbard.

Born June 19, 1917 at Garnavillo, Mrs. Belden was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Bissell. She was educated in the rural schools of Clayton County and on June 30, 1942, she was married to Randall Belden of Manchester. Mrs. Belden had been a patient at Iowa City four weeks, and for the two months prior to her death had been confined to bed at home Her death was due to cancer.

Mrs. Belden is survived by Mr. Belden and five children, Neal, Byron, Harlan, Marna and Cheryl, and by the following brothers and sisters, August of Manchester, John of the Air Force and stationed in Florida, Royce of Elkader, Mrs. Lloyd Bente of Elkader, Mrs. Jack Lowell of Guttenberg, Hulda of Cedar Rapids, Mrs. Delmar Tuecke of Guttenberg, and Kay, at home.

She also is survived by her parents, a grandfather, Ed Bissell of Manchester, and a grandmother, Mrs. Anna Hohman of Guttenberg.

Among those from out-of-town who attended the services in Elkader were Mr. and Mrs. Robert Hoffman of Rockford, Illinois; Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Bissell of Austin, Minnesota; Mrs. Hulda Weseman of Guttenberg; Mrs. Elizabeth Llewellyn of Cedar Falls; Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Hansel of Elkport; Mr. and Mrs. Albert Meyers, Mrs. Ida Robinson, Mrs. Lewis Cole and Donald Bissell of Edgewood, Mr. and Mrs. George Belden, Mr. and Mrs. Carmie Belden, Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Morarie of Volga; Mr. and Mrs. Ray Bissell, Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Bissell, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Bissell and Mr. and Mrs. John Pleis of Arlington; Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Guyer of Elgin; Mr. and Mrs. Ira Bissell, Howard Bissell and Wilma Losch of Elkport.
