Mr. Charles E. Black, Sr. died June 20, 2012 at the Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo, MS.

He was Born June 29, 1927 to Sam and Aldean Black.

He was preceded in death by his Wife of 57 years, Shirley A. Black and by his Son, John Thomas Black.

The Funeral Service will be held Saturday, June 23, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at Oxford-University United Methodist Church with Rev. Warren Black Officiating.
Visitation will be held at the Church, prior to the Service, from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M.
A Graveside Service is scheduled for 2:30 P.M. in Memorial Park Cemetery in Memphis, TN on the day of the Service.

He is survived by his Son, Charles E. Black, Jr. and Wife, Linda, of Germantown, TN; his Daughter, Leslie Ann White of Oxford, MS; and four Grandchildren, Charles E. Black III of Nashville, TN; Whitney Marie Black of Chattanooga, TN; Tyler Ann White and Grace Elizabeth White; both of Oxford, MS.

Mr. Black was a Member of Oxford-University United Methodist Church.
A Native Memphian, Mr. Black was also a former Member of the Christ United Methodist Church in Memphis, TN.

He was President of F.A.B., Inc. for 48 years before Retirement in 1997.
He was a 32nd Degree Scottish Rite, Mason, former Member of the TN Collectors Association (where he served as a President), Kiwanias Club Member, and Member of Windyke Country Club.

He was Honored and Proud to Serve his Country in 1945 and 1946 in the U.S. Army.

Memorial contributions in Mr. Black's memory may be made to Oxford-University United Methodist Church, 424 S. 10th St., Oxford, MS 38655.

In Honor Of Mr. Black's Service To Our Country, The United States Army Flag Will Be Flown At Waller Funeral Home.
