ALBANY--Pearl B. Ator, 81, of Aberdeen, Md., formerly of Meadowbrook Road, died unexpectedly Sunday at Franklin Square Hospital in Baltimore, Md.
Born in Haley, N.D. she was the daughter of the late Oren Everett and Alma Guthrie Blackwood. Mrs. Ator was a retired secretary for the former Albany Local School District. She was a member of Albany United Methodist Church, Albany Chapter 558 Eastern Star, Albany Grange 1611 and Albany Senior Citizens. She attended Ohio University.
She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, James E. and Marge of Aberdeen, and Robert H. and Judy of Reisterston, Md.; and six grandchildren.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Chase Ator; a brother, Carl Blackwood; and a sister, Ada Morgan.
Services will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Bigony-Jordan Funeral Home with Pastor Willard Love officiating. Burial will be in Alexander Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. Eastern Star memorial services will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
