INJURIES ARE FATAL TO MRS. ANDERSON

Mrs. Oscar M. Anderson, 31, office secretary of Great Falls Chamber of Commerce, died Thurs. morning at a local hospital as a consequence of injuries received in an auto accident near Browning Saturday.

Mrs. Anderson received a badly lacerated left arm which was almost torn from the should when she was thrown from the car which she and her husband, Oscar M. Anderson, and Mr. and Mrs. D.E. McKenzie were riding, enroute to Waterton Lakes for the double holiday. The large muscle in the interior part of the chest severed and should blade torn from its muscular attachments, infection set in early of Tues.

The accident it was said, occurred when one of the rear wheels of the auto came off. Swerving the machine into the ditch, where it overturned. Mrs. Anderson was thrown clear of the car. Other occupants were unable to account for the injury.

Mrs. Anderson, before her marriage of 17 Aug 1927 was Miss Rowena (sic) Blackwood, Daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Blackwood, formerly of Chincok and now of Whitefish, where they own a rooming house. She was born at Buffalo, KS and attended school there and at Chincok. She was employed as Secretary by Judge C.E. Day of Helena for 2 Yrs. After coming to Great Falls, she worked for a time for the Murdock Oil Co. and had been with the Chamber of Commerce for More than 3 Yrs.

In addition to her husband and parents, survivors are a brother-in-law, M.C. Anderson of Great Falls National Bank; her mother-in-law Mrs. Marcus Anderson and a cousin, Dean Blackwood of Great Falls.
