Charles Wilmer Blair, age 72, died November 2, 1993.

Born September 7, 1921, in Grove, Oklahoma, to Jesse LeRoy and Opal Johnson Blair. Married Beverly Smith February 5, 1949, in Granger, Utah. Retired from Kennecott Copper after 25 years. Survived by his wife; daughters, Betty Jo (John) Botts, Owasso, Oklahoma and Joan (Michael) Brgoch, Wilmette, Illinois; brother, Bobby LeRoy; sisters, Gertrude Goring, [Plauda] Brown, Leta Shipman, and Jeta Albro; brother-in-law, Gary (Maxine) Smith; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and four step great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by sister, LaVerne Thulin.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, 11 a.m., at the Sunnyvale Ward, 3671 South 4180 West. Friends may call Friday, 6-8 p.m., at the Peel Funeral Home, 8525 West 2700 South, Magna, and Saturday, 10 to 10:45 a.m., at the church. Interment: Valley View Memorial Park.
