She was born Nov. 2, 1941, in Liberty, New York, to George McKeen and Alice Jane Hunt Edwards. She married Bradford Berdell Blair on June 5, 1973, in the Oakland California LDS Temple. He passed away March 16, 1997.
Bertha worked at LaPoint Elementary School as a Title One Aide. She loved the children and they adored her. In her younger married years, she and her family lived in various parts of the country while Bradford was serving in the Air Force. She had many friends and acquaintances, and was well loved and respected by all she knew. She always put the welfare of others above her own.
Bertha was a strong and faithful member of the LDS Church. In her younger years, she served a mission in Florida from 1968-1970. She held various callings in the Young Womens and Primary, and often spoke of those with whom she worked with great affection - leaders and children alike. She also served as an ordinance worker for many years in the Vernal LDS Temple.
Bertha loved spending every minute she could with her children and grandchildren. Her family was her greatest possession.
She is survived by her children, Eugene (Rayn) Blair, LaVerkin; Janie (Tyson) Bagley, Logan; Joshua Blair, Vernal; Jaylene Blair, Logan; Melanie (Matthew) Jenne, Vernal; grandchildren, Aryn, Isaac, Zoe, Asher Blair, Aubrie, Kaleb, Abbigail Bagley, Keaton Blair, Elizabeth, Emma, Samantha Jenne and soon to make her appearance, Genevieve Blair; brothers, Virgil C. (Sandy) Edwards, Grahamsville, New York; Johnny (Joan) Edwards, Livingston Manor, New York; sister, Marie Edwards, Liberty, New York; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her sweetheart, Bradford; parents; and siblings, Arthur, Mary Ellen,Theodore, Theadora, Emanuel, and Vernon Edwards.
Interment in the Washington Heights Memorial Park in Ogden.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, March 20, at the Davis 1st Ward LDS Chapel, 3990 South 1500 East, Vernal.
There will be a viewing at the church on Friday from 6-8 p.m. and from 9-9:45 a.m. Saturday. Burial will be in the Washington Heights Cemetery in Ogden.
