Services for John F. Blake, 87, of 635 Palisade Avenue, who died Friday in Bridgeport Hospital, will take place Monday at 8:15 a.m. in the Albert W. Spear Funeral Home, 39 South Benson Road, Fairfield, and at 9 o'clock in St. Charles church, Bridgeport. Burial will be in St. Michael's cemetery.

Born in Bridgeport, Mr. Blake was a lifelong resident of the area. He was a Gold Card member of the Bricklayers' union, and a member of the Holy Name society of St. Charles church and Park City Council, K of C.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Susan Sirotnak Blake; three daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Pavlick and Mrs. Alice Baksay, both of Easton, and Mrs. Madeline Holt of Bridgeport; a sister, Mrs. Thomas O'Rourke of Bridgeport; eight grandchildren; and a great grandchild.
