Mrs. Della M. Blake, 85, a longtime Marin County resident beloved by a large family, died early today at a local rest home.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Keaton's Mortuary in San Rafael. Burial will be in Mt. Tamalpais Cemetery.

California born at Weaverville, Trinity County, Mrs. Blake came to Marin County 41 years ago. She was married to the late Frank T. Blake who was a San Rafael policeman for many years, then assumed charge of San Quentin Prison camps in Trinity County.

During the past few years, she had made her home with a daughter, Mrs. Eleanor Eckles, at 37 Meadow Ave, Santa Venetia.

Others survivors include 4 other daughters, Mrs. Bonnie Richmond of Vallejo; Mrs. Adele Morelli of Occidental; Lola Blake of San Rafael; and Mrs. Ruth Rodgers, who is the wife of Fire Department Captain Francis Rodgers of San Rafael; 2 sons, Jack Blake of Santa Rosa, and Kenneth Blake of Mountain View; 18 grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by daughter Elsie White.
