Alphonso - Patricia Alphonso died on Friday, July 4, 2008 at Earl K Long Hospital, Baton Rouge, LA at 4:00 AM. Age 59, she was a resident of Baton Rouge, La. and a nanny for the past 15 years. She lived in Luling area all of her life. Survivors include son, Edgar Paul Crochet, Jr., of Baton Rouge; daughter, Rachel Crochet
Villavaso and husband, Doug of Luling; brother, Joseph B. Blanchard, III and wife, Debra of Vacherie; sister, Katherine B. Mehrhoff and husband, David of LaPlace; ex-husband, Edgar Paul Crochet, Sr., Raceland; grandchildren, Eric Paul Crochet, Kimberly Ann Miller, Kristen Nicole Crochet, and Crystal Rose Crochet. Preceded in death by husband, Lloyd E. Alphonso; sister, Kathleen B. Brown; parents, Joseph Blanchard, Jr. and Margaret Schmill Cologne. Special nanny to Annie Dawson. Visitation on Friday, July 11, 2008 at the Holy Family Catholic Church in Luling from 9:00 am until 11:00 am. Funeral Services on Friday, July 11, 2008 from the Holy Family Catholic Church in Luling at 11:00 am. Interment: St. Charles Cemetery in Luling. Clergy: Fr. John Perino.
