She passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Tuesday morning, August 5, 2014. She was 85. She was a resident of Bayou Pigeon and a native of Pierre Part, La. She was preceded in death by her husband: Clevin A. Berthelot; Parents: Oleus & Enola Blanchard; 1 sister: Agnes Sauce; 4 brothers: Cleveland Blanchard, Eneaux Blanchard, Eloyse "Black" Blanchard, Percy Blanchard; son-in-law: Thomas Vaughn. Visiting will be 6-9 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 6, at Wilbert Funeral Home of Plaquemine and again from 8-10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 7, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Plaquemine. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the church, conducted by the Rev. Father Gregory Daigle. Interment will be in Grace Memorial Park.
