Linda Ruth Blanchet, a Pendleton resident, passed away Friday evening, July 8, 2016, at her home. She was 64 years old.
A graveside service was held at Olney Cemetery in Pendleton.
She was born August 14, 1951, in Portland, Oregon, to Ruth (Howe) Wyatt and Charles Wyatt Jr. She was raised in Beaverton, Oregon, until the eighth grade when the family moved to Pendleton, Oregon, where she attended Helen McCune Jr. High School and Pendleton High School.
She married John Larry Blanchet. The couple had five children and later divorced. Linda raised her five children, coached Little League and was a 4-H club leader. She had worked at Short-Stop Mini Mart, Albertson's Grocery, Mission Market, and Keystone RV before retirement.
She is survived by her children ;a brother;;10 grandchildren;and 22 nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Ruth Wyatt.
