Ertta C. Baker, 90, of St. Petersburg, Fla., and a former longtime resident of Point Marion, Pa., died January 10, 2004, in Florida. Born in Lake Lynn, Pa. on March 14, 1913, she was a daughter of the late Fred and Edna Donley Blaney. She was a member of the Point Marion United Methodist Church, and had been living in St. Petersburg since 1985.
Surviving are her three children, Delbert R. Baker and Mary Lou Bunch, both of St. Petersburg, and Eugene F. Baker of Oak Hill, Va.; a brother, Fred Blaney of Uniontown; five sisters, Mabel Shingleton of Butler, Pa., Charlotta McNatt of Pawleys Island, S.C., Virginia Miller of Smithfield, Pa., Loretta Schiavoni, of Brunswick, Ohio, and Freda Mae of Uniontown; 11 grandchildren; 15 great- grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Fred Delbert Baker on Dec. 19, 1982.
Private interment was in Evergreen Memorial Park, Point Marion. Friends are invited to join the family for Memorial Services on Saturday, June 26, 2004 at 11:00 a.m., in the Point Marion United Methodist Church. The Rev. James D. Lewis will officiate.
