Stone says she was born in Blaneys Town Ireland, County Down.

``Mrs. William Bennett, and old-time resident of Denver, and deeply loved by all for her helpful and kindly nature, went quietly and peacefully to her reward last Sunday [before 12 Sep 1908] after a long illness. Mrs. Bennett was a member of St. Vincent's Aid society and always took a great interest in the welfare of the little orphans. She is survived by her husband, William Bennett, two daughters, Misses Margaret C. and Katherine C. Bennett, and two sons, Harry and Charles Bennett. The family has always occupied an enviable position in Catholic religious and social circles. The funeral took place Wednesday from the home, 1401 Cherokee st., Denver, CO., to St. Leo's church, where solemn requiem high mass was sung by Rev. Father O'Ryan, who also preached an eloquent sermon drawn from the exemplary life of the good wife and mother. Priests from all the parishes were present in the sanctuary. Burial was in Mount Calvary cemetery.''--Obituaries of the Intermountain West by Michael & Mickie Sheppard
