Mary Alice Blood, 80, widow of Chester F. Archer, died Friday night at the home of her son, Alan H. Archer, Havertown. Pa., following a long illness.
A daughter of William Allen and Jane Pawling Blood, Mrs. Archer was born in the Town of Perth but spent practically her entire life in Hagaman. She had resided with her son in Havertown since October, 1946. While in Hagaman, she attended the Calvary Reformed Church and was a member of various organizations of that church, having been at one time a soloist in the choir.
Surviving are two sons, C. Lauren Archer, Broadalbin. and Alan H. Archer. Havertown. Pa.; one brother, Joseph Blood, Sprakers; a granddaughter, Mary Elizabeth Archer, Havertown, and several cousins.
The body will be brought to Amsterdam for the funeral and burial will be at Hagaman.
