Our beloved Christiane Vandenwijngaert Blood, passed away at the age of 70, Tuesday, May 26, 2015, in her home in Sandy, Utah. She was born in Miskom, Belgium November 17, 1944. Immigrated to America at the age of 7 with her parents and two sisters. They settled in Logan Utah. She lived in the area until her marriage to Wesley H. Blood in 1965 in the Logan LDS Temple.

During their married life they raised their cherished daughter Julie Lynne. They lived in many parts of the United States from coast to coast. Finally settling in Sandy, Utah where she succumbed to a fourteen year battle with cancer. She was surrounded by her loving family.

Survived by husband Wesley, daughter Julie and husband Todd Defa, her adored grandchildren Alan, Jessica and Dylan, and three sisters Rachelle, Nicolle and Simone, and brother Ernie, plus all the family that loved her. Preceded in death by her younger sister Marie Jose. She will be deeply missed but always in our hearts. Graveside services will be held on Friday, May 29 at Larkin Sunset Gardens (1950 E. 10600 S. Sandy, UT).
