MRS. HOWARD ANDERSON

CURWENSVILLE - Mrs. Sara Alice Anderson, 45, a native of Curwensville, died in a Veterans Hospital at Phoenix, Ariz.. Sunday at 7 p.m.

Mrs. Anderson was born in Pike Township Nov. 12, 1913, a daughter of Bruce and Pearl (Riddle) Bloom. She was a member of the Grace Lutheran Church of Curwensville and severed with the Women's Marine Corps in World War II.

Surviving are her husband, Howard (Happy) Anderson; her parents and these brothers and sisters: Dorsey and Harry of Curwensville; Everett, Trimos, Pa.; Mrs. Robert (Mary) Deering, Johnson City, N.Y.; Mrs. Joseph (Betty) Bietz, Niagara Falls, N.Y. and also several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas Bloom, who died in 1938.

Funeral services will be held Saturday morning at 11 o'clock from the Lininger Funeral Home Curwensville with the Rev. Roy E. Hauser officiating. Burial will be made in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Friday and until time of services Saturday.
