Aletha Ash, 79, of Houston, Texas, was welcomed into the arms of her loving Savior on Friday, May 16, 2014 at her residence in Houston.
Aletha was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister that will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd W. Ash; parents Lesie and Azy Blume; and sister, Thalia Arnold.
Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Gail Reynolds, Carol Smith, Debra Edwards, Floyd L. Ash, and Lisa Hicks; grandchildren Karen Zamany, Christine Rothchild, Jennifer Pense, Paul Love, Theresa Gonzalez, Tara Juliano, Bryan Ash, Robert Love, and Aletha Edwards: Fourteen great-grandchildren; and a sister, Ida Ann Glover.
Funeral Services celebrating the life of Aletha Blume Ash will be held at 12:00 P.M. Wednesday, May 22, 2014 in the chapel of Rosewood Funeral Home of Humble. Herschel Rothchild will officiate. Burial will follow services at Rosewood Memorial Park and Cemetery, also in Humble.
