RELVA JEAN BECHTLER, 85, of Ontario, passed away Friday morning, June 6, 2014 at Ohio Health MedCentral Mansfield Hospital.
She was born June 20, 1928 in Baltimore, Ohio and graduated with the Baltimore High School Class of 1946. She worked for many years as a secretary at United Telephone Company.
Relva is survived by her husband, John Bechtler; daughter, Janita (Larry) Yurkonis of St. Petersburg, Florida; stepson, Tim Bechtler of Norwalk; stepdaughters, Tammy Bechtler (Jeff Keefer) and Sonja (John) Young, both of Norwalk; four grandchildren; eight step-grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and seven step-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Dorothy Cowan Blume.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Road. Burial will be at a later date in Union Evangelical Cemetery, Baltimore, Ohio.
