She was born February 28. 1891 at Woodbine (Kansas). She had worked at the Herington Air Base and as an assistant for Dr. Bowers in Morris County for years, and as a cook in the White City schools. Mrs. Adam was a member of the United Methodist Church in White City. She still taught Sunday School classes there.
Her marriage to William "Pete" Adam was March 14, 1907 in Hope, Kansas. He died in January 1948. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Lois Kemph, and a son, Merle Adam.
Survivors include three daughters: Elva, Treva and Rosa Marie; and five sons: Harry, Howard, Kenneth, Dale and Percy. Also 41 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; 9 great-great-grandchildren; and one great-great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services were held Wednesday at the White City United Methodist Church. Burial was in the White City Cemetery. A memorial honoring her life has been established for the United Methodist Church in White City.
