Copiague, Suffolk, New York Oct. 12 - Bernard Blumenschein, 82, a retired employee of the Standard Oil Company of New Jersey, by which he was employed for 54 years, died yesterday at his home here. He was born in Germany and had lived in Brooklyn for 30 years. He retired 16 years ago.
He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Minnie Bloeth, Miss Anna Blumenschein and Mrs. Bertha Perthou; two brothers, Robert and Albert; a sister, Mrs. Anna Clement and three grandchildren. The funeral will be held from the home of Mrs. Bloeth at 9 a.m. Thursday. Burial will be in Evergreens Cemetery, Brooklyn.
