ATHENS - Mildred Lucille Baker, 86, of Bexley, formerly of Lakewood, Port Clinton and Athens, died Monday morning, Sept. 10, 2007, at St. Ann's Hospital in Westerville.
Born Jan. 24, 1921, in Shade, she was the daughter of the late Elmer E. and Mary Downey Bobo. A graduate of Shade High School, she was a sales clerk at Green's drug store in Port Clinton and Higbee's department store in Cleveland. She was a member of Lakewood United Methodist Church.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Baker, in 1975; a son-in-law, Jack Callender Jr.; two sisters, Bernice Gaston and Mary Fern Pierce; and two brothers, Dan and Belford Bobo.
