Ruth (Bobo) Northum was born May 20, 1903 in Ft. Worth, Texas to Carrie Irene Cannon and John [Jacob] Simpson Bobo and passed away October 4, 2003. Ruth graduated from Oak Cliff High School and later a business college and worked several places including Dallas Power and Light where she met an electrical engineer by the name of Ted M. Northum whom she married on August 27, 1931. She later worked many years for Dr. Marchman in the Medical Arts Bldg. as a medical assistant. Ruth had been a member of Oak Cliff Christian Church for 85 years. Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Ted on October 2, [Sep. 30], 1979. Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, October 6, 2003 at Restland Memorial Park.
