Aged Citizen Passes Away from Heat Prostration. Edward Boeck 78, whose home was at 137 River Street, died at 8:40 o'clock Wednesday morning, July 15, as a result of heat prostration. He is survived by 3 sons Carl, Muskegon Mich, George in Portage, Fred at home. One daughter Emma at home. There are 2 grandchildren. He also leaves 2 brothers Frank Boeck of LaCrosse and Theodore of Portage. One sister Mrs. Frank Manteufel of Portage, and a number of other relatives. Funeral services conducted by Rev G T Vieth, will be held from the Evangelical church at 4:30 o'clock Friday afternoon, July 17 preceded by a brief service at the family home at 4 pm. Interment in Silver Lake cemetery.
