LaVerne Boeck
MONROE, Wis. - LaVerne (Wimpy) Boeck of rural Browntown, Wis., was dead on arrival from a heart attack at St. Clare Hospital in Monroe Sunday morning.
He was born March 4, 1929, in Browntown, the son of Henry and Bessie (Smith) Boeck. He married Alda Hicks in Bradenton, Fla., Dec. 31, 1952.
He worked at Fischer Body in Janesville, Wis., and then moved to Florida, where he was senior foreman for the City of Sarasota. In 1973, he returned to this area and purchased Wimpy's Bar. After selling the bar, he was a representative of Combined Insurance Co.
