Catherine Jane Boguslawski, 90, formerly of Cadogan, died Thursday, Dec. 28, 2006, in Kittanning Care. She was born Jan. 14, 1916, daughter of John and Maria Bartolovic. She had been a lifelong resident of Cadogan and was a member of St. Lawrence Church, Cadogan, and formerly belonged to the Altar Society of the church. She enjoyed baking, cooking, gardening and spending time with her family and grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Boguslawski, who died Feb. 6, 1976; brothers, Peter, Michael, Thomas, Nicholas and Frank; and sisters, Agnes Pascal, Mary Solak, and Anna Todorick. She is survived by a son, John (Cecilia) Bartolovic, of Ford City; three grandchildren, John and Jeannie Bartolovic, Kathy Bartolovic Hilliard, and Eric and Kara Bartolovic; and three great-grandchildren, J.J. Bartolovic, Jenna Bartolovic, and Benjamin Bartolovic. Visitation from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday and from 11 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Saturday at the MANTINI FUNERAL HOME, 701 Sixth Ave., Ford City, where a prayer service will take place at 12:30 p.m. Saturday. Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. in St. Lawrence Church, Cadogan, with Father Edward Volz officiating. Interment will be in St. Francis Cemetery.
