Anna Bol was born in Oestgeest, Holland the second child of Jan de Gelder and Teuntje VanVeen in 1923 and passed from this life October 9, 2012 at Warm Beach, Washington.

Anna spent her life devoted to her family and taking care of others in this world. She was especially proud of her Dutch heritage and her children as well as her extended family around the world.

The love of her life was Pieter Bol with whom she immigrated to Ontario, Canada moving to Colorado, California and for the past many years in Washington. She was a talented seamstress and famous for her dahlias. Many children were held in her loving arms as she was a devoted foster parent. Her caring and love for others along with her faith in Jesus will be most remembered.

Anna will be met in Heaven by her husband Pieter Bol, daughter Joan Verdoes, sister Nel Van de Vegte.

She is survived by her children Anita Byle, Janice (Chris) Kloeck, Leticia "Tish" (Greg) Ackermann, as well as grandchildren and great-grandchildren and sisters and brother.

A special thanks to the staff at Warm Beach for guiding her through the last years of her life.

A memorial celebration will be held on Sunday, October 14th, at 1:30pm at Warm Beach Community Center.
