Born June 17, 1926 in Lafayette, she was the daughter of Joseph and Anna (Fischer) Keiser and a graduate of Lafayette Jefferson High School.
Her marriage was to Merle E. Bol on January 7, 1948 in Lafayette. He preceded her in death on May 2, 2006.
Carolyn worked as the manager of the cafeteria of the former Purdue National Bank and then Bank One.
She was a member of Lafayette Christian Reformed Church and enjoyed cooking for her family and friends. Carolyn especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, who were the light of her life.
She is survived by her daughter, Marjorie “Margie” Britton (close friend: Joe Gibson) of Lafayette; brother, Jack Keiser (wife: Julie) of Kokomo; sister, Lois Barnard of Florida; 6 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren.
Preceding her in death with her parents and husband, is her son Steven A. Bol.
