He is survived by his wife, Mary Louise Matthews Bolden; six sons, Thomas Lee Jones, Myron Ruffin, Tyrone Bolden, Stanford Bolden of Gibson, Glynn Bolden and wife, Tracy, and Matthew Bolden and wife, Alma, of Riverside, Calif.; one daughter, Marcia Johnson and husband, Henry, of Gibson; three brothers, Claude Bolden of San Antonio, Jeff Bolden of Houma and Charles Bolden of Gibson; one sister, Ezora Bolden Gauche of Houma; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jeff and Effie Calloway Bolden; one brother, Wilbert Bolden; two sisters, Margarette B. Aubert and Geraldine B. Vance; two sons, Michael Nash and Henry Nash; and two grandchildren, Honri Johnson and Henry L. Johnson.
He was a retired rigger for McDermott and a member of Mount Pilgrim Baptist Church.
