HERMAN BOLDEN
Herman Bolden, 79, a native and resident of Gibson, died at 5 pm Wednesday.
The funeral will be held at 8 pm Tuesday at Mount Pilgrim Baptist Church,Gibson.
Dismissal will be held at 11 am Wednesday from the church.
Burial will follow in Beulah Cemetery, Gibson.
He is survived by two sons, Shelby and Bernard Bolden; eight daughters,Mrs Naoemie B. Smith, Mrs Gloria B. Smith, Mrs Nell B. Torregano, Mrs Earcy B.Williams, Mrs Eva B. Henry, Mrs Rose B. Franklin, Mrs Marie B. Perkins and Mrs Belinda B Billiot; two brothers, Henry and Charles Moore; three sisters,Mrs Hilda Thompson, Mrs Bertha Jackson and Mrs Mercedes Jackson; 37
grandchildren; 54 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs Geneva Ruffin Bolden; his parents,Alfred Bolden and Mrs Sylvia Brown Moore; and one daughter, Mrs Mildred B.Cooper.
Gertrude Geddes Willis Funeral Home of Houma is handling arrangements.
