Born Jan. 20, 1903, in Dublin, Ireland, she passed away Tuesday, July 7, 1998, at her home. Burial will be in St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery, Palatine.
Mrs. Bolger was a homemaker and an active member of the St. Anne Catholic Community. She was a co-founder of the Village Planters of Barrington, and was a member of the Garden Club of Park Ridge.
Her hobbies included gardening, playing bridge, needlework and photography.
Survivors include her children, Adelaide (William) Zimmerman of West Chicago, Brendan (Carole) Bolger of Mount Prospect, and Terence (Mary Jeanne) Bolger of Palatine; 14 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John A. Bolger, whom she married June 27, 1929, in East Orange, N.J.; son, Kenneth Bolger; and great-granddaughter, Deirdre Zimmerman.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the time of prayers at 9:30 a.m. Friday, at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Village Planters of Barrington, 26777 W. Cuba Road, Barrington, IL 60010.
