Relatives and friends were shocked and saddened to hear of the passing of Austin P. Bolivar of Baker Settlement, whose death occurred at the D.M. Hospital, December 1st, at the age of 90 years.
He was born at Baker Settlement, the son of the late Charles and Mary (Frauzell) Bolivar.
He leaves to mourn the loss a devoted wife, Edith Bolivar, and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by two sisters, Louella (Mrs. Robert Mailman); Lettie; and four brothers, Robert (Sr.), William, Nathenal, and Hezekiah.
Funeral service was held on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. at the Union Church, Baker Settlement, Rev. Paul Cumming officiating.
Burial was in the Baker Settlement Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Everette Wentzell, Lowell Faulkenham, Wallace Garber, and Wilton Bolivar.
