Avard Walter Bolivar, 66, Dayspring, passed away November 21, 2000, at home. Born in Dayspring, he was a son of Marion (Franklin) Bolivar, Dayspring and the late Walter Bolivar. He is survived by his wife, the former Madeline Joudrey; son, Michael and wife Krista, Oakhill; daughter, Cheryl and husband James Dibbin, Stillwater Lake; grandchildren, Brandon and Devon Bolivar, Oakhill; Erin and Kyle Dibbin, Stillwater Lake; brothers, Bruce and wife Joan Bolivar; William and wife Audrey Bolivar, all of Dayspring; several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be today from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. in Sweeny's Funeral Home, Bridgewater. Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday in the Bridgewater United Baptist Church, Bridgewater, Lic. Penny Bailey officiating. Burial will follow in the Dayspring Cemetery. Family flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to the Dayspring Cemetery fund, Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia or the South Shore Regional Hospital Foundation, Bridgewater.
