Rick Bonney, age 37, owner of Duke City Barber Shop went home to be with the Lord, on Sunday, December 30, 2012 in Albuquerque. Rick was a life-long resident of Albuquerque. Rick left behind his beloved wife, Lisa, daughters, Estrella, Jasmine, Angelina and son, Rick Jr, parents, Oscar and Maxine Borunda, brother, Andrew and sisters, Renee and Vanessa. Rick is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, grandparents, nephews, brothers and sisters-in-law and many friends. Rick is preceded in death by his grandmother, Isabella Bonney. There will be a visitation from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, January 4, 2013 at French – Lomas. The Funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2013 at 12 noon at New Beginnings Church at 3601 Montgomery Blvd NE. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE. A memorial fund has been set up to assist his family with expenses at Compass Bank under Rick Bonney Memorial Fund.
