He was born and had always lived at the Boody homstead.
His parents were the late Jacob and Sarah Vandewalker Boody and he was born Sept. 3, 1861. He operated the homestead farm.
On Dec. 24, 1884, he married Hattie Elizabeth Ford of Western who died Dec. 17, 1942.
He leaves a son, Francis Boody and a daughter, Mrs. Joseph Mickle, Town of Steuben; a nephew, Clarence Boody, Camden; four grandchildren, Mrs. Curtis Dole, Jane Eleanor Boody, Warren and Lawrence Mickle, all of Steuben; and two great grandchildren, Laurel and Lawrence Dole, Steuben.
Interment will be made in the spring in the family plot in Carmichael Hill Cemetery. Rome Daily Sentinel, Monday Evening, February, 18, 1946
