Matilda Booth, daughter of the late Alfred Booth and Dolly Reeve Booth of Campbell Hall, and wife of W.H.D. Blake, died at her residence in New Paltz, on the road leading to Libertyville, Saturday morning, aged 60 years. Mrs. Blake had been in feeble health from consumption for a long time. She was an earnest Christian woman, beloved by all who knew her. She leaves a husband, two sons and a daughter to mourn her loss. Mrs. L.H. Woolsey, a sister, beside other brothers and sisters survive. Funeral services were held at the home Monday afternoon. Revs. Dr. Oggel, C.E. Lasher, G.M. Cranston officiated. Interment in the New Paltz Rural cemetery. W.J. Bogardus, undertaker.
