Therese Bordelon Aymond, 80, passed away on Wednesday, October 2, 2013. She was a native of Cottonport, LA and resident of Baton Rouge, LA.

Therese was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother & great grandmother who loved her family dearly. She was a devoted Catholic and member of St. George Catholic Church, Catholic Daughters of America, and the Altar Society.

Therese is survived by her husband of 55 years, Eugene J. Aymond; daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Kirk Venable; sons and daughters-in-law, Warren and Jan Aymond, Daniel P. Aymond, Glenn and Sally Aymond, and Robert P. Aymond; sister, Natalie Brochard; brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Ethel Bordelon; 14 grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Ilie Bordelon; two sisters, Isabell Lacombe and Louise Lacombe; and brother Thomas Bordelon.

Visitation will be at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy., Baton Rouge, LA 70816, on Friday, October 4, 2013 from 5 pm until 8 pm and will continue at St. George Catholic Church, 7808 St. George, Baton Rouge, LA 70809, on Saturday, October 5, 2013 from 9:30 am until funeral service at 11 am celebrated by Reverend Netan Minj.

Pallbearers will be Therese's seven grandsons. Burial to follow in St. George Cemetery.
