Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 6, 2008 at a 4:00 p.m. Word Service in Evangeline Memorial Gardens Chapel in Carencro for Gail Addison, age 41, the former Gail Doucet, who passed away Saturday, May 3, 2008 at 3:34 PM at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette.
Interment will be in Evangeline Memorial Gardens in Carencro. The Rev. John deLeeuw will officiate at the services
Musical selections will be provided by Valerie Andrus. The songs will be Amazing Grace, On Eagle's Wings and Stairway to Heaven
Ms. Addison was a native of Lafayette and a lifelong resident of Carencro.
Survivors include her father, Kernel Joseph Bordelon and his wife Mary of St. Martinville; two sons, Lee Addison and Jamie Stelly of Carencro and Curtis Addison and Alicia Patain of Carencro; one sister, Marcella Bordelon of Carencro; one grandson, Gavin Addison; one niece, Amber Bordelon; one nephew, Craig Gilcrease; one brother in law, Rene Addison and his wife Kathy of Carencro and one sister in law, Allyson Gilcrease and her husband Tim of Carencro.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 25 years, Allen Addison; her mother, Charlene Doucet; one nephew, Justin Addison; her mother in law, Betty Addison; and her father in law, Lee Addison.
Melancon Funeral Home, Evangeline Memorial Gardens Chapel, 4117 N. University Avenue Carencro, Louisiana was in charge of arrangements.
