Teresa Bordoni Spencer
ITHACA - Teresa Bordoni Spencer, 79, of 115 Coy Glen Rd., died Wednesday, July 27, 2005, at her home. She was born in Carpineto, Italy, daughter of the late Giacomo and Santa Bordoni. Teresa was retired from Borg Warner where she had worked for over 30 years in the accounts payable department. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church. She loved being outdoors and working with her flowers. A loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother, Teresa is survived by her husband of 56 years, Leon E. Spencer, Jr.; her three daughters, Patricia (Les) House, Catherine (Dave) Reynolds and Colleen (Rick) Tubbs; her five grandchildren, Philip (Lisa) Lorer, Denise House (Todd Park), Amy Reynolds (Pete Tagliavento), Kelly Reynolds (Tom Bishop), and Nicholas Tubbs; and her five great-grandchildren, Sarah, Kristen, Jennah, Adam and Craig. She is also survived by her brother, David (Lon) Bordoni; brother-in-law, Dale (Nancy) Spencer; and many nieces and nephews. Teresa was a loving, kind-hearted person, a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother, and will be missed by all who knew her. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the Bangs Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 4 to 6 p.m. Donations in Teresa's memory may be made to the Immaculate Conception Church or Immaculate Conception School.
