Ada Rumalda Borge, 82, of Ocala passed away on Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at Avante at Ocala in Ocala. She was a native of Cuba and moved to this area from Pennsylvania in 1980. Mrs. Borge was an Executive Housekeeper for Hilton for 15 years before leaving to take care of her ailing husband. She loved to laugh and dance with her family; she was a “Humble and Loving human being.” She attended St. Theresa Catholic Church. Survivors include her children Deborah Borge-Shaffer and her husband Lawrence Shaffer of Ocala, FL; Diana and her husband Fred Pierce of Blue Bell, PA, Martin Borge and his partner Julia Mieres of Ocala, FL; her brother Adalio Diaz of Silver Springs Shores, FL; she was preceded in death by her parents Julian and Maria Diaz, her husband Edward and her son Eddie. A memorial service will be held at 9am on Saturday February 28, 2015 at Hiers Baxley Funeral Services, Belleview, 5946 SE Robinson Rd. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice of Marion County PO Box 4860 Ocala, 34480 or Avante of Ocala 2021 SW 1st Ave, Ocala, FL 34471.
