Adolph Borges , 70, of Pismo Beach died Friday, June 21, 2002, at his home.
Visitation will be held Wednesday from 10 a.m. until noon at Lady Family Mortuary in Arroyo Grande. A graveside service will follow at 1 p.m. at Arroyo Grande cemetery. A luncheon reception will follow the service.
Mr. Borges was born Dec. 4, 1931, in Lemoore. He was a veteran of the Korean War. He worked as a truck driver for many years and retired from Verdegaal Trucking Co. of Hanford in 1992. He moved from Hanford to Pismo Beach in 1993 and attended St. Patrick's Catholic Church.
Mr. Borges is survived by his brothers, Alfred Borges of Pismo Beach, Albert Borges of Fresno and Alvin Borges of Hanford; sister Thelma Lindsey of Oklahoma City, Okla.; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Eulla "Belle" Borges .
