Adolf Borowski, 81, died June 2 at his home in Cheyenne.
He was born Sept. 25, 1928, in Nordenthal, Germany.
He lived most of his life in Jelenia Gora, Poland, with his wife Halina, whom he married in 1955, where he taught German literature, language and culture. He moved to Cheyenne after the death of his wife in November 2004. He enjoyed nature, travel, a good book outdoors in his garden and a glass of warm German beer,
He is survived by his daughter, Ella Kubicz ; one grandson; two sisters; two brothers; numerous nieces and nephews; and many friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Halina; and his parents, Albin and Bronislawa Borowski.
