Carol Rae Ballard passed away June 8, 2009 in Provo, UT.

She was born December 20, 1956 in Nephi, Utah to Kenneth Boss and Lucille Tolley. She married Joel Hansen January 21, 1972. Together they had four children. They were later divorced. She married Bill Ballard June 28, 1997.

Carol found success in many different jobs. She worked as a seamstress for Catalina and Utah American. She was a manager at Flying J, All For One, and Best Western. She was currently employed at Young Living. Carol found the most fulfillment in selling Aloette Cosmetics and helping women feel beautiful and confident. Her greatest success was the friendships she made. She enjoyed crocheting, gardening, watching old movies, making home improvements, and hosting family get togethers. Her favorite thing to do was to spend time with her family, especially her beautiful grandchildren.

She is survived by her mother, Lucille; husband, Bill; daughters, Melissa (Mike) Bastian; Jennifer (Travis) Worwood; a son, JayLynn (Vickie) Hansen; sisters, Mary Ivory, Patty Boss, Linda Butler, and Walline Broadhead; brothers, Craig and Clay Boss; step-children, Tanya Shortt and Waylon Ballard; uncle, Roy Tolley; aunts, Norma Cressler and Bonnie Quinn; 20 grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Preceded in death by her son, Steven; grandson, Tanner; father, step father, and grandparents.

Carol will always be remembered for her tireless work ethic, boundless energy, gift of gab, and her desire to take care of those she loved.
