Mrs. John Boswell, 68, of West Peru died unexpectedly Monday at her home.

Mrs. Boswell, nee Alice Allen, was born a daughter of Thomas and Edna (Shorthill) Allen. She resided in the Town of Peru most of her life.

She is survived by her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Edward McCormick and Mrs. Bernard Jarvis; two sons, Patrick and Raphael Boswell, all of Peru; 11 grandchildren.

Also surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Fred Myers and Mrs. Arthur Lyell; one brother, Robert Allen, all of Livingston, MT.
